Booty Camp is boot camp fitness that’s just for girls, available at outdoor locations across Australia. Polkadot PR, with its passion for health, fitness and lifestyle, worked closely with the brand to leverage its profile to women across Australia. Polkadot PR positioned owner Leigh Shaw as an expert in female-specific fitness to key media and Booty Camp’s classes as the best way for women to get fitter, faster and more toned without the boys watching. A core part of the client brief was to achieve in-depth media reviews for a Booty Camp six-week course, so we engaged in a media-relations programme that saw journalists ‘Booty Camping’ to experience this unique style of fitness first-hand. Polkadot PR also supported the brand through its social-media channels, engaging existing and new ‘Booty Campers’ to discuss women’s fitness and share their thoughts, comments and motivations as a community.
